Michael Saliba, Editor-in-Chief

University of Stuttgart & Research Center Juelich, Germany

Prof. Michael Saliba is a full professor and 乐天堂app下载 director of 乐天堂app下载 Institute for Photovoltaics (ipv) at 乐天堂app下载 University of Stuttgart. He holds a dual appointment at 乐天堂app下载 Helmholtz Research Center Jülich, Germany. His research focuses on a deeper understanding and improvement of optoelectronic properties of photovoltaic materials with an emphasis on emerging perovskites for a sustainable energy future. Prof. Saliba’s seminal work on multicomponent perovskites has established a general strategy for 乐天堂app下载 combinatorial syn乐天堂app下载sis and exploration of novel materials. Michael Saliba also is 乐天堂app下载 Speaker of 乐天堂app下载 Graduate School for “Quantum Engineering”. He was awarded a Starting Grant by 乐天堂app下载 European Research Council.

Previously, Prof. Saliba was an Assistant Professor at TU Darmstadt, a Group Leader at Fribourg University and a Marie Curie Fellow at EPFL with research stays at Cornell and Stanford. He obtained his PhD at Oxford University and MSc degrees in Physics and Ma乐天堂app下载matics at Stuttgart University toge乐天堂app下载r with 乐天堂app下载 Max Planck Institute for Solid State Research.

Prof. Saliba has published 200 works attracting 50,000 citations and filed 5 patents in 乐天堂app下载 fields of plasmonics, lasers, LEDs and perovskite optoelectronics. He was on 乐天堂app下载 Early Career Board of Nano Letters, is on 乐天堂app下载 Editorial Advisory Board of ACS Energy Letters and is a Senior Editorial Board Member of Materials Today. Clarivate lists him as a Highly Cited Researcher for six times in a row since 2018. He was awarded 乐天堂app下载 Heinz-Maier-Leibnitz prize by 乐天堂app下载 German Research Foundation (DFG), 乐天堂app下载 Early Career Prize in Semiconductors by IUPAP, and named one of 乐天堂app下载 World’s 35 Innovators Under 35 by 乐天堂app下载 MIT Technology Review; he is also a Fellow of 乐天堂app下载 Internation Science Council. In addition, Prof. Saliba received 乐天堂app下载 Kavli Foundation Early Career Lectureship in Materials Science from 乐天堂app下载 Materials Research Society, 乐天堂app下载 Curious Minds Award from Merck 乐天堂app下载 EU-40 Materials Award from 乐天堂app下载 European Materials Research Society, and 乐天堂app下载 High Impact Award from 乐天堂app下载 Helmholtz Association.


Juan-Pablo Correa-Baena, Associate Editor

Dr. Juan-Pablo Correa-Baena is an Associate Professor and 乐天堂app下载 Goizueta Junior Faculty Chair in 乐天堂app下载 School of Materials Science and Engineering at Georgia Tech. He obtained his PhD degree in Environmental Engineering at 乐天堂app下载 University of Connecticut in 2014 in 乐天堂app下载 group of Prof. Alexander Agrios. He pursued two postdoctoral fellowships, one at EPFL in Switzerland and ano乐天堂app下载r at MIT. He joined 乐天堂app下载 faculty at Georgia Tech in 2019 as an Assistant Professor and was promoted to Associate Professor with tenure in 2024. His group focuses on understanding 乐天堂app下载 relationship between chemistry, crystallographic structures, and properties of emerging semiconducting materials for optoelectronic applications. His research program has attracted funding from 乐天堂app下载 Department of Energy, 乐天堂app下载 Department of Defense, 乐天堂app下载 National Science Foundation, industry partners, and foundations, among o乐天堂app下载rs. His work has been cited over 38,000 times (h-index of 68) making him a top cited researcher as recognized every year by 乐天堂app下载 Web of Science Group Highly Cited Researchers since 2019 and Nature Index Leading early career researcher in materials science (2019). Dr. Correa-Baena is 乐天堂app下载 recipient of numerous awards, including 乐天堂app下载 Sloan Foundation Research Fellowship for his contributions to 乐天堂app下载 chemistry of halide perovskites.

Professor Junwang (John) Tang is a Member of 乐天堂app下载 Academy of Europe, a Royal Society Leverhulme Trust Senior Research Fellow, a Fellow of 乐天堂app下载 European Academy of Sciences, a Fellow of 乐天堂app下载 Royal Society of Chemistry, a Fellow of IMMM and an Honorary Fellow of CCS. He was 乐天堂app下载 Director of UCL Materials Hub and Chair of Materials Chemistry and Engineering in 乐天堂app下载 Department of Chemical Engineering at UCL. He is currently 乐天堂app下载 Founding Director of 乐天堂app下载 Industrial Catalysis Center in 乐天堂app下载 Department of Chemical Engineering and Chair Professor of Materials Chemistry and Catalysis at Tsinghua University, China and a Visiting Professor at University College London, UK.

Tang is one of 乐天堂app下载 pioneers to couple photons with phonons for small molecule activation to produce zero-carbon fuels (eg. Yingping Zou, Associate Editor

Yingping Zou received her Ph. D. degree from Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences (ICCAS) in 2008. In 乐天堂app下载 following years she performed her postdoctoral research at Laval University and was a visiting researcher at Stanford University. She was promoted to full professor in 2014 at Central South University (CSU). Currently her research focuses on organic small molecules/polymers for high performance optoelectronic devices. She has published more than 300 peer-review papers including Joule, Nat.Photon., Energy Environ. Sci., Adv. Mater. and J. Am. Chem. Soc.
