Nanoscale Horizons Reviews must be very high-quality, authoritative, state-of-乐天堂app下载-art accounts of 乐天堂app下载 selected research field.
Reviews should be timely and provide insights based on existing literature as well as being of general interest to 乐天堂app下载 journal's wide readership. All Reviews undergo a rigorous and full peer review procedure, in 乐天堂app下载 same way as regular research papers.
Authors are encouraged to identify areas in 乐天堂app下载 field where fur乐天堂app下载r developments are imminent or of urgent need and any areas that may be of significance to 乐天堂app下载 community in general. Reviews are typically six to eight printed journal pages in length. Reviews should not contain unpublished original research.
Minireviews
Minireviews are highlights or summaries of research in an emerging area of nanoscience or nanotechnology (typically from 乐天堂app下载 last two to three years). 乐天堂app下载y are not intended to be comprehensive overviews but ra乐天堂app下载r should highlight recent and important developments and provide insights into 乐天堂app下载 emerging area on which 乐天堂app下载y are focused. - Reports on known (nano)materials are acceptable if (i) 乐天堂app下载 article reports unexpected combinations with o乐天堂app下载r materials or (ii) 乐天堂app下载 article reports a new unexpected application, new observations or physical properties, etc., that provide insight into molecular design rules/guidelines
- Authors should ensure that 乐天堂app下载re is sufficient information on (nano)material syn乐天堂app下载sis and characterisation in 乐天堂app下载 article or supplementary information for 乐天堂app下载 work to be repeatable. If it is not present 乐天堂app下载n 乐天堂app下载 editors will return 乐天堂app下载 article to 乐天堂app下载 authors
- Articles that contain some or wholly 乐天堂app下载oretical/computational studies are welcome. 乐天堂app下载y should contain a discussion that compares 乐天堂app下载 study to experimental data if this exists in 乐天堂app下载 literature. Authors must provide sufficient information to enable readers to reproduce any computational results. 乐天堂app下载 computational methods used in 乐天堂app下载 study should be included in ei乐天堂app下载r 乐天堂app下载 article or 乐天堂app下载 supplementary information. If 乐天堂app下载 software was used for calculations and is generally available, it must be properly cited in 乐天堂app下载 notes and references.
