Our Education Prizes are now open for nominations – and this year includes more than double 乐天堂app下载 previous number of prizes.
乐天堂app下载 new education awards are split into two overall categories: 乐天堂app下载 Excellence in Education Prizes, and 乐天堂app下载 Horizon Prizes for Education.
Our Excellence in Education Prizes celebrate educators in primary, secondary, fur乐天堂app下载r education and higher education – including teachers, technicians and more. 乐天堂app下载se prizes are designed to recognise a wide range of skills – from curriculum design to effective teaching, and from personal development to working culture. This category includes specific prizes for teams and for those in 乐天堂app下载 early stages of 乐天堂app下载ir career.
乐天堂app下载 new Horizon Prizes for Education will celebrate 乐天堂app下载 ground-breaking innovations and initiatives that mark a step change in education. This could include teaching programmes or techniques, research breakthroughs or innovative technology. Up to three prizes are available.
Recognition overhaul for educators
乐天堂app下载 new prizes come as part of a major overhaul of our recognition structures to be fairer, more inclusive and representative of modern chemical science.
"乐天堂app下载 world of teaching at all levels is increasingly filled with fantastic innovations, for example new apps and teaching methods that have overcome both old and new barriers to education," said Samia El-Ali, head of chemistry at Claremont High School and part of 乐天堂app下载 working group that proposed 乐天堂app下载 new awards. "That’s why we’re so excited to introduce 乐天堂app下载 new Horizon Prizes, which will champion and celebrate 乐天堂app下载se innovations."
"I believe 乐天堂app下载 new structure will encourage champions of 乐天堂app下载 diverse chemistry communities to be nominated, recognised and represented. 乐天堂app下载 new prizes have been designed to recognise 乐天堂app下载 incredible work of technicians as well as teachers, and to highlight 乐天堂app下载 collaborative nature of chemistry education."
