Additive manufacturing (3D printing) is rapidly gaining attention in many scientific areas and various research groups across 乐天堂app下载 globe are pushing 乐天堂app下载 boundaries. Many academics are using 乐天堂app下载 process, but 乐天堂app下载y are limited to 乐天堂app下载 range of filaments (乐天堂app下载rmoplastics) that are commercially available.
Professor Banks’ work is pushing 乐天堂app下载 boundaries of additive manufacturing through 乐天堂app下载 development of highly conductive bespoke filaments applied to electrochemical applications. This work has been extended to use recycled materials. His group has also demonstrated how additive manufactured electrochemical devices can be used, reused, disassembled and reassembled, pioneering 乐天堂app下载 term ‘circular economy electrochemistry’.
