Dr Felice Torrisi MRSC
Winner: 2024 Harrison-Meldola Early Career Prize for Chemistry
Imperial College London
For innovative contributions to 乐天堂app下载 understanding of charge transport in networks of two-dimensional materials for 乐天堂app下载 development of printed electronics.
Celebrate Dr Felice Torrisi
Researchers worldwide are now using our results to develop high-performance printed electronics for more sustainable and ubiquitous electronics in 乐天堂app下载 future.
Dr Torrisi’s work reveals 乐天堂app下载 physical mechanisms responsible for 乐天堂app下载 transport of electricity in printed two-dimensional (2D) materials. Understanding how charges move in printed 2D materials enables 乐天堂app下载 design and optimisation of new electronic devices in emerging fields, like wearable electronics, electronic textiles, point-of-care diagnostics and quantum computing. His team has revealed that electronic components, sensors and integrated circuits can be printed from 2D material inks on any substrates, including plastics to textiles, paving 乐天堂app下载 way to a new generation of high-performance devices.
