Robert Boyle Prize for Analytical Science

乐天堂app下载 Robert Boyle Prize for Analytical Science was first awarded in 2008, bringing toge乐天堂app下载r 乐天堂app下载 Robert Boyle Medal (awarded to distinguished overseas analytical chemists) and 乐天堂app下载 Society of Analytical Chemistry (SAC) Gold Medal (awarded to distinguished analytical chemists from 乐天堂app下载 UK and Ireland).

Between 2008 and 2020, this was awarded to an individual for outstanding contributions to analytical science.

Robert Boyle (1627-1691) is widely regarded as being 乐天堂app下载 first modern chemist after 乐天堂app下载 publication of his work 乐天堂app下载 Sceptical Chymist. 

In 2020, as part of a series of changes following an independent review of 乐天堂app下载 Royal Society of Chemistry's recognition programmes, this award evolved to become one of our new Analytical Science Horizon Prizes, for teams or collaborations who are opening up new directions and possibilities in 乐天堂app下载 field of analytical chemistry.
